Any time is the right time for moving!
It’s easy to fall into being “too busy” to exercise. When work/life/kids/chores/etc steal your day away, and exercise isn’t a solid part of your routine, all of a sudden you just stop moving.
We are totally guilty of it. We know all the things we should stretch and strengthen, the physiological reasoning of why we should get our heart pumping, and yet sometimes we don’t do it. Do we get bent out of shape over being ‘lazy’ for a week or a month or a year? NOPE. We look forward and make new goals and new commitments to feel good and move again.
Easy way to make time to exercise? Look at how you might be WASTING time.. social media and tv/games being a big culprit. (After you finish reading this of course).
Spend 20 minutes on your lunch break at work to get moving. Krystle here opts for an easily portable yoga app, and keeps her mat at the office. Up until retiring, a client used to spend her entire break power walking the trails by the creek- every damn day no matter the weather.
Don’t get a lunch break? Wake up 20 mins earlier. Don’t like mornings? Calisthenics are convenient for while you’re binge watching HBO series.
Have a new baby that doesn’t let you sleep or have time to yourself? 8.5lbs is perfect for squats and lunges 👶🏻🏋🏻♀️
Point is, with a bit of creativity and analyzing our time usage, we could all be moving a little more, and feeling a lot better.
Side note- just want to acknowledge that left side muscular beauty- triceps, rear delts, teres minor, and infraspinatous all engaged and that arm plugged into the socket
